Commonly known as Chinese Evergreen plants, they are native to South East Asia and are very easy to care for (especially the varieties with darker leaves). If you are a first-time plant owner, start with these gorgeous plants. The leaves can come in many pretty colours ranging from silver to flaming red. They can happily grow in areas with low light or just artificial lighting. As long it is not extremely dry, they don’t fuss about humidity as well. Not pet friendly.
